An existing brick office was renovated and paired with a new seafood cold storage warehouse in Gwinnett County. Located near Interstate 85, this seafood cold storage facility will distribute products across the eastern United States.
The new 115,885 SF facility includes 5,000 SF of seafood processing, a 22,077 SF renovated office and mercantile space. This sales staff supports a 95,502 SF cold dock, dry storage and freezer space. The site has space to expand the freezer an additional 40,000 SF.
The existing brick over steel frame was completely renovated inside. The new warehouse is a steel frame structure with insulated metal panel skin. The warehouse has a special concrete flooring system. The warehouse and freezer utilize a TPO roof, while the renovated office was reroofed with a ballasted EPDM roof. There are illuminated decorative brick columns on either side of the office to bridge the scale between the two structures.
